HOUSTON -- Houston’s Sept. 23 game vs. Texas Tech, the Cougars’ second home game of the 2017 season, has been set for an 11 a.m. kickoff and will air on ABC or ESPN2, The American Athletic Conference announced Monday.
TV network designation will be announced after the Sept. 16 games.
The game will also air on KPRC 950 AM with the pregame show hosted by Matt “Soccer” Thomas kicking off at 10 a.m.

Tickets for the game are available to season ticket holder, mini-plan purchasers and through a special single-game ticket option through Sept. 15. Each $75 single-game ticket sold will also result in a ticket donation to a first responder for the Sept. 16 game vs. Rice.
Houston opens its 2017 home schedule when it hosts Rice on Saturday at 7 p.m. CT on ESPN3. Radio coverage for the game kicks off at 6 p.m. on KPRC 950 AM.
For remaining weekend games, kickoff times will be set by conference TV partners within 12 days prior to the contest, or in limited instances, six days out. Houston fans can check UHCougars.com every Monday for updated game times.
